Welcome & Why I’m Here

Hi, I’m Tammy, and I’m really glad you’re here!

God has been doing a new thing within me here at Create a Homeschool Life. After months of prayer and quiet confirmation, that new thing has become a YouTube channel.

This YouTube channel is simply an extension of that same heart, encouraging Christian homeschool moms through faith-centered videos, honest reflections, and reminders of God’s faithfulness in the homeschool journey.

If I’m honest, I feel a lot like Gideon.

“Lord… are You sure? Really? Me?”

You see, I am very much a behind-the-scenes person. While writing has always felt natural, video does not. But try as I might, I can’t get away from the pulling on my heart.

And it reminds me a lot of my early days of homeschooling.

I didn’t feel equipped to do that either. I often questioned what I was doing and whether or not I was enough for the task. Yet through obedience, imperfect, prayerful obedience, God has proved faithful. Always.

Now, after graduating three of our four children and seeing the fruit of all those years, I find myself standing at the edge of yet another step of faith.

I’ll admit, it feels a little scary.

However, if sharing face-to-face lets me walk alongside other homeschool moms, offering perspective and reminders of God’s faithfulness, then I’m willing to be uncomfortable for a while.

And just like homeschooling, I’m trusting that obedience will bear good fruit in time.

My prayerful hope is that these short, faith-centered videos will meet you right where you are. Not to give formulas or guarantees, but to remind you that God is faithful and He never meant for you to carry this alone.
